Busy Week!

It seems like forever since I've blogged. Here is a quick wrap up of our crazy week.
Monday - Crew was fussy all day so I took him in to after hours that night anf he has an ear infection. Poor baby. He screamed his head off for like 5 hours straight!
Tuesday - Caden's actual birthday which included 2 trips to Chuck E Cheese - one with KJ after gymnastics and one with Boston, Hayes and Olivia.
Wednesday - I took Chase's class on a field trip to Thanksgiving Point. It was really fun. We saw a dinosaur movie at the IMax and then ran around the Children's Discovery Gardens for a couple of hours. Then we met Kierstin, Kate, and Lolo at Kangaroo Zoo for LoLo's birthday. It was such a blast. LoLo was so cute. She made a little boyfriend that she was running around with.
Thursday - Chase's end of the year BBQ at school.
Friday - last day of school! I took the boys to see Pirates 3 to celebrate. It was sweet!
Saturday - last day of the Parade of Homes for Geoff (Thank Goodness!) and shopping for Lake Powell!
Now we are just getting packed to go to Lake Powell for a week with our friends. Happy Birthday Grandma Katie, wherever you are!

WE BELIEVE!

This could be it tonight for the Warriors if they don't pull off a win in Utah. The Jazz have not lost a home game yet in the playoffs but the Warriors played them great here in games 1 and 2. Even though they are down 3-1, we still believe! All my boys will be watching the game tonight in all their new Warriors clothes that Geoff bought them in California. They are so excited! I hope Chase doesn't stay up for the whole game though. He has SAT's this week in school!

Crew's Blessing - Happy Mother's Day!

I had the best Mother's Day present - Crew was officially given a name and a blessing. Geoff did such a great job and he had the support of family and friends. Afterwards we had a wonderful buffet (that is, after we stopped tripping all the breakers in the house and could actually start cooking!)
Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful women in my life. First to my beautiful mom - you inspire me with your love, generosity, and youthful nature. Thank you for all that you have taught me. I hope that my children will love and respect me the same way I love you. Kay, you are the best mother-in-law I could have ever hoped for. You have been a rock for your children and they still seek you for advice and approval. I love that I can come to you with anything and you always have the right answer! Ali, you are an inspiration to all around you. You truly are the sweetest, most giving person. We all admire all that you do for your children and for the unconditional love and service you give to them. Kierstin, you are such a great mom. Your children and their safety is your number one priority. You have such a beautiful bond with your girls. Kelli, you are not forgotten. You will someday be a wonderful mother! And Shannon, you are just so much fun to be around! You are the mom that all the kids love to hang out with. You remind me so much of my mom!

Caden's Birthday

Caden had such a fun birthday party. We had it a little early since Bryan and Kelli were here. Caden had so much fun. We rented an obstacle course and had sports stuff set up all over the yard. He is such a great kid. He is so sweet and fun, not to mention adorable. I know I'm just a proud, bragging mom but he really is and all around super kid! Happy Birthday, Sweetie!

We love Bryan and Kelli!

We had such a crazy busy weekend so we invited Bryan and Kelli to come out from New York to participate in all the fun. They, of course, said yes. They are so supportive, helpful, and loads of fun and we just love them. On Friday, Geoff and Bryan flew to California to see the Warriors - Jazz game in California. Thankfully, the Warriors killed them (they were not so lucky on Sunday). Then on Saturday we had Caden's Birthday Party, Sunday was Crew's blessing, Mothers Day, and a much anticipated phone call from Brett (serving a miaaion in Texas). It was great to all be together for that since he only had 1 hour to talk.

Spring Programs!

The boys both had their Spring Programs this week. Chase's was a dance festival. It was so cute! He did the Mexican Hat Dance, the Handjive, and the Chicken Dance. He loves to dance! Caden had a little Mothers Day Program. His class sang two songs to their moms. Caden was kind of shy, which was shocking, but cute anyway! Good job boys!

Warriors vs. Jazz

Geoff and Chase had an amazing time at the game last night. They had second row, VIP, floor seats. Both of them wore their Warriors jerseys (VERY brave to do during the playoffs!) During warm-ups, one of the Warrior players, Foyle, brought Chase out onto the court to pass the ball to him. I wish I could have been there to see it - he was so excited! Then the Jazz Bear came and took Chase's jersey off and put a Jazz jersey on him. Chase took the Jazz jersey off and threw it on the court and got his Warriors jersey back from the Bear (after the Bear wiped his nose and under his arms with it). Geoff said it was really funny and Chase was on the jumbo screen. Then, during half time, Chase went back on the court with Foyle and passed to him again. When they were done Foyle gave Chase his warriors wrist band. Chase was so pumped. The night would have been perfect if the Warriors won (sadly, they lost in the last 30 seconds of the game). But Geoff and Chase had a great father/son moment and the Warriors proved that they are worthy to be in round 2!

Finally - Vegas!

I know - it's taken me forever to post these! The first few days of Vegas were disappointing (word to the wise - do NOT stay at the Mirage with kids) but the last couple days were great. We transferred to the Wynn, which we love, and had a great time by the pool in our cabana!

Happy Birthday, Kelli!

Happy Birthday, Kelli! You are such a wonderful, caring, fun friend, sister and aunt. We love you to pieces and can't wait to see you again. I hope Bryan spoils you today by coming home before midnight!
