My mom and Ali came out to Maui for a few days to celebrate Ali's 40th. We had so much fun. It's so great to just relax, catch up, and just be able to talk without the distraction of kids and everyday life (not that we don't love our angel boys ;)

We spent one day with the boys. They were so excited to show Ali their surfing skills.

Couples Trip to Lanai

A few weeks ago Geoff and I went to Lanai with some friends for the night. We LOVE Lanai and it was great to have some alone time (not that we don't love the angel boys ;)
We rented a Jeep and drove around the whole island. It's pretty remote. Only one small town. The island only has a population of 1,000.

The morning of day 2, we went on a beautiful hike that ends at this lookout point. Not too shabby.

The old-school game room at the Lodge is one f our favorite spots in the hotel. We had some heated shuffleboard matches.

Goodbye, Lanai! Can't wait to go back!

While I was in California with Chase and Caden, Geoff had Crew for 10 DAYS! Geoff kept him busy and spoiled rotten the entire time. The pictures tell the story of their many, many, many adventures!

Burn Trip

So Chase's trip to California started on a high. Spoiled little stinker with all these presents and attention from Grandma. He was SO looking forward to the 12 days of fun ahead of him. Which, of course, was immediately followed by Grandma Gayle's burn. The next couple of days were REALLY rough for him. After Caden and I got there, things started to turn around. Even though we had Grandma to take care of, we still managed to squeeze in some fun.

My dad had us all down for a BBQ and pool party. It was great to see him, Margo, and his brother Garel. Chase stayed on with them for a couple days while Caden and I went back to take care of my mom.

Next, Chase was onto the Bay area to see Bryan and Kelli, Grandma Katie, and Papa Bob. He had so much fun looking at old pictures of his dad and playing golf with everyone.

Meanwhile, my mom and I took Caden to Sunsplash and John's Incredible Pizza. He was SO excited to see all the places he has heard so much about from Chase.

Sky High is an awesome trampoline center. Caden, Brennen, and Trenton tore it up! Caden pulled some crazy flip-twisty moves. That boy could probably be a good gymnast if I'd let him ;)

One of Caden's favorite things by Grandma's house was the skate park. It was clean and had a supervisor there at all times. He mastered some new moves.
We met Bryan, Kelli, Kenzie, and Chloe at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. It was a mixed day: fun to see family but Caden spent half the day in tears cause he was too small for ALL the big rides. Poor, short, little guy!

Grandma Gayle braved the outdoors one day to go miniature golfing. It was SUCH a fun course and we were all impressed with Grandma's golf skills. I could not let her end the day on top, though. I scored 7 hole-in-ones on the back 18!

These boys have the sweetest relationship. They really are great cousins who love each other very much!
