Caden's Dolphin Friend!

Here are the pics of Caden in the Dolphin Show. He was so pumped but was very serious when he was up there. After the show we were in line for the Wilderness Adventure ride and this kid came up to him and said "Are you the kid from the Dolphin Show? You're famous!" He felt pretty cool.

California

We had a fun, but busy, few days! First, we spent a couple days with my dad and his wife in Livermore. My kids loved playing with their two dogs. Then we went up to Sacramento and spent a couple days with my sister and her family, my grandma, my mom, and my aunt and cousin. It was really fun. Chase and Trenton played so cute together. They wrestled in Ali's pool for hours. I can tell improvements in both Brennen and Trenton. Ali has them on all these special vitamins and makes all their food from scratch. It's a lot of work for her but they both seem to be responding positively. Then we went to Marine World for 2 days. It was a blast. Chase could go on all the rides, many of which I was scared to go on! And Caden could surprisingly go on quite a few rides as well. Caden also got picked to go on stage for the dolphin show and got to pet and feed the dolphin. It was so cute. I didn't have my camera that day but a lady got some pictures for me and will email them to me soon, so stay tuned!

Lehi Invitational

Today we had the Lehi Invitational at the Legacy Center. It was crowded and hot, but a great swim meet. Chase placed 1st in freestyle, 2nd in butterfly, 5th and a possible DQ in breaststroke (NOT his best performance), and then he redeamed himself with a 1st place in both the medley relay and freestyle relay! We finished the day with some waterslides and a celebatory ice cream at Cold Stone! Sorry for no pictures, but I videoed instead!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to our fun, energetic, loving Dad! Geoff beat up on the boys all day yesterday because it was Father's Day so they had to do whatever he said. They were pretending not to like it but they were laughing all day. We ended the day with dinner at Ruths Chris. I know, not the best Sunday activity, but it's Geoff's favorite restaurant and it was a special day! Also, happy Father's Day to my sweet, patient, kind Dabo!

Swim Meet

Swim team is officially underway! Chase walked away with 4 first places and 1 third place. Not a very good indication of the season as it truly was more like a practice meet, but his confidence is high and he is ready to roll!

Lake Powell

To make a really long story short, we had the most unconventional Lake Powell trip ever. Our super nice houseboat was broke for like half the trip and the last few days of the trip were ruined by hurricane-like winds and a broked water pump on the houseboat, which means no doing dishes, laundry, or flushing the toilets. Nice, huh?! However, we enjoyed a few super nice days in the middle and we are always grateful to be with family and friends, no matter what the conditions! I realized that I took NO pictures of the whole trip! The first few days were so much fun with the Taylors, Edwards, Carsons, Mortons, and Rhodes. So many kids and they all had a blast! The nights were rough with no power but we had great company. The last part of the trip we were there with just the Taylors and it was a totally different kind of fun. More time to relax and concentrate on teaching our kids some new things. Which brings me to my favorite part of the trip - watching Chase and Boston learn how to ride stand-up Jet Skis! I was really nervous at first that they would really get hurt on them but both boys proved to be naturals. They ripped through the bouy course and already are smoother and take better lines through the turns than Shannon or I! The boys also loved fishing, catching lizards, knee-boarding, surfing, and water-skiing. Wakeboarding still eludes both my boys, though Boston got it this year. Oh well, maybe next time! It certainly is a busy trip, I am not even fully unpacked yet. Now I need a real vacation - anybody ready for Vegas or Hawaii? I need to be pampered!
