May Day

Today the kids had a huge May Day celebration at their school. There was an enormous tent set up on campus decorated with palm leaves and flowers. All of the classes then performed musical and dance presentations from the islands. It was so beautiful. Chase's class played the recorder and a couple classes played the ukulele.

Each class was represented by a prince and princess with the eighth graders being the king and queen. They had warrior guards and conch shell blowers to lead the procession. It was really cool!

It was a great May Day! And Happy Birthday to Kelli - we can't wait to see you guys tomorrow!
