Maui Film Festival

We were so excited for the Maui Film Festival - one of our favorite events of the year. We saw several great independent films under the beautiful night skies.

The first night we saw Castles in the Sky,

Birthright (an inspiring short film about a handicapped mans' struggle to surf),

and the Butterfly Circus (another inspiring short).

The next night we saw Hana Surf Girls (good documentary, fun because it is about a small Maui community, but a little too long)

Last night we saw Boy (NOT appropriate for kids! We took the kids to play on the putting range during this one. I was really excited to see it too because it was about a Maori kid.)

Stones (about Hawaii legend)

And The Watermen Experience (my favorite!)
