Typhoon Lagoon

Disney World has 2 amazing water parks - Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. We liked the water parks just as much as the amusement parks! They are SO clean and nice. So much to do for everyone. Just as many rides for little kids and big kids. The two best features of Typhoon Laggon are the 3 water coasters (pictured above and below) - half roller coaster, half slide - and shark reef (you actually snorkel with sharks, fish, and sting ray).
Caden was SO excited to do the water coasters. He was actually a little too short but the lady gave him a wrist band anyway so he could do it. That made his whole trip! He tries so hard to be big!

The little kid area had so many water slides - even a couple tube rides. These were Crew's favorites.

Sharks Reef was AWESOME! My sister - who is deathly afraid of sharks - impressed us all by going 3 times! My mom and Crew even went too! It was creepy, but cool. LOTS of sharks swimming all around you. The pool is only 8 feet deep so the sharks are right up close to you, even though they are bottom feeders. Chase and Caden did this 6 times and were even made Jr. Lifeguards. They cleared the whole Lagoon and Chase and Caden had to swim all around and make sure everything was clear and looked ok and then signal the lifeguards to let people come in. They felt very important!
